GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON
IN THE MATTER OF
VACATING A PORTION OF
CERTAIN COUNTY ROAD
RIGHT-OF-WAY
RESOLUTION NO. 96-118-CC
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Grant
County, Washington, were petitioned to vacate certain County roads
described as follows:
That portion of County Road formerly known as Martin
Road, located in the SE 1/4 of Section 29, Township 21
North, Range 26 East W.M., Grant County Washington, all
of which lies North of a line running parallel to and
30 feet North of the South boundary of Farm Unit 3 in
Block 73.
WHEREAS, legal notice was published in the legal paper
and was posted on each end of the property to b� vacated or as
near as possible; and,
WHERE�,S, the County Road Engineer did give his report
in favor of this vacation; and,
WHEREAS, the road is of no benefit to the County or to
the people of Grant County;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the portion of
County Raad formerly known as Martin Road, as describecl above, be
hereby vacated and abandoned as a County Road.
