RES�}LUTI�N NU��BER 96-115-CC
� RESOLUTION relating ta the facts requiring an appropriation
and expenditure of �unds for the following dep�.rtment/fund:
Law and Justice Fund ��121, Department ��163 ,
together wi�th a budget therefor; declaring an emergency; and
setting a public hearing date; all pursuant to RCW 36.40.140.
itiHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the �3oard
af County Comm�ssioners of Grant Cou�ty that an appropriation
and sxpenditure o� funds should be aut�ioriz�d for the above-
mentioned department/fund, together with a budget thereior, in
the estzmate� amount .of � 160,000 ; and
WiTHEREAS, ex.penditure of such �unds was not included in ihe
current budget o� Gran� County, however, ernergent cand�tions
nc�w requ�re that such funds be ex�ended; and
WHEREAS, it appears that an emergency exists and that the
expendiiure of such funds could not have been reasonably foreseen
at ihe time of making said eounty budget;
NOW, TI�EREFORE, BE iT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF C4UNTY GQM-
MISSIONERS OF GRAlVT COUl�TTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that the afare=
mentioned facts constitute an emergency and that an appropriation
and expenditure o� iunds shou�d be authorized far the following
depa�°tmen �� fu�2d : Law and Justice Fund 121, Department ��163 ,
together �xith a bLt�.get therefor.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED �hat notice o� a public hearing uper�
such �xpenditure shall be given, said hearing to be held on
se�tember 9,1996 in the Grant County Commissioners' Office,
Grant County Courthouse, Ephrata, Washingion, at the hour of
1•30 n.m.
