RESOLUTION TO DECLARE SURPLUS RESOLUTION No. 16-1�I�CC
GRANT COUNTY PROPERTY LOCATED
AT THE FAIRGROUNDS AND CONSIDER
THE SALE THEREOF
WHEREAS, Grant County owns approximately 57-acres of undeveloped property located at the
Fairgrounds,Parcel No. 17-0612-000, located at the northwest corner of Paxson Drive and West Valley
Road in Moses Lake, WA; and
WHEREAS, Grant County has determined that this parcel is no longer needed; and
WHEREAS,RCW's 36.34.010 and 39.33.020 gives the authorization to surplus County
property; and
WHEREAS, Grant County held a public hearing on December 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. to hear
public testimony either for or against the proposal.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT HEIaEBY RESOLVED THAT the Board of County
Commissioners declare surplus the above named property located at the Grant County
Fairgrounds and will consider the sale thereof.
