GRANT COUTITY, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTI4N NUMBER 99-68-GC
A RESOLUTI4N relating to the �acts requiring an appropriation
and expenditure o� funds �or the �ollowing departznent/�und:
Current Expense Fund ��001, Courthonse Faci�ities De�t-_��11� a
tagether with a budget therefor; declaring an emerge�cy; and `
setting a public hearing date; all pursuant ta RCW 36.40.144.
W�IEREAS, it has been braught to the attentian a� the Board
o� County Commissioners o� Grant County that an apprapriatian
and �xpenditure oi iunds should be authorized for the above-
mentianed department/fund, together with a budget there�or, in
the estimated amaunt .o� $ 156 500 ; and
�V73EREAS, expenditure of such �unds was nat included in the
current budget o� Grant Caunty, however, emergen� conditions
now require that such �unds be expended; and
WHEREAS, it appears that an emergency exists and that the
expenditure a� such �unds cauld not have been reasanably �oreseen
at the �ime of making said cotanty budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, B�E IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF C4UNTY CQM-
MISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE 4F W.ASHINGTON, that �he a�ore-
mentioned �acts constit�te an emergency and that an appropr�ation
and expenditure af �unds should be authorized far the �o3lowing
dep�,rtment /�und : Curren� Ex�ense Fund 460(i1 , Cor�rt-ho,,GP Far; l; fi; P� nP� r.�E��z2,
together w�.th a budget there�or.
BE IT FURTHER RES�LVED that natice o� a public hearing upon
such expenditure �haZl be given, said hearing to be held on
� Mav 18�1999 in the Gran� County Commissioners' O��ice,
Grant County Courthouse, Ephrata, Washington, at the haur a�
