RESOLUTION NUMBER 99-69-CC
A RESOLUTION relating �o the �acts requiring an appropriation
and exp�nditure o� �unds �or the �ollowing departmentJ�und:
Law and Justice Fund ��121,Department ��163 ,
together with a budget �herefor; declaring an emergency; and �
setting a public hearing date, aI3 pursuant to RCW 36.40.I40.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attentzon o� the Board
o� County Commissioners a� Grant County that an appropriation
and expenditure o� funds should be authorized �or the above-
mentio�ed departmentifund, together with a budget there�or, in
the estimated amount .of $ 156,5b0 ; and
WHEREAS, expenditure o� such funds was not included in the
current budget a� Grant County, hawever, emergent canditions
now require ihat such �unds be expended; and �
WFIEREAS, it appears that an emergency exis�s and that the
expenditu�e o� such �unds cauld not have been reasona.b2y �oreseen
at the time o� making said county budget;
NO�V, THEREFORE, SE IT RES�LVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COM-
MISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STAT� OF WASHINGTON, that the a�ore-
ment�oned �acts constitute an emergency and that an appxopriation
and expendi�ure of funds should be authorized ior -the �ollowing
depariment /�und: Layr�, & �TZ,Gt-ine F,,,,cL�`�� �� , A�� �irt�,e�-t �#� �� �
tagether wzth a budget there�ar.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that natice o� a public hearing upan
such expenditure shall be given, said hearing to be held on
Mav l8 �1999 in the Grant County Commissianerst ��fice,
Grant Gounty Courthouse, Ephrata, Washington, at the hour o�
1:00 �.m.
