IN THE MATTER OF VACATING ) RESOLUTION N0. 99-34-cc
A PORTION OF CERTAIN COUNTY )
ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY )
i�JHE1�EA5 v the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County
Washington, has determined that consideration should be given to vacating
certain portions of a relocated County road described as follows:
A strip of land 60 feet wide, lying in the Northeast
of the Northwest portion of Section 26, Township 24
North, Range 28 East W.M. , more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at a point on the North line of said section 26, which point
is 1,443.35 East of the Northwest corner; thence following Auditor's
File Number 311187 filed February 14, 1958, to a point on the South line
of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of said section 26,
which point is 2,623.86 feet East of the West sectio� line of said
section 26 measured along the South line of the North half of the
Northwest quarter of said section 26; thence continuing on the same
curve with a radius of 382.00, a tangent length of 171.10 for a distance
of 321.72 feet; thence North 25°33 '24" West a distance of 772.95 feet to
the Easterly right of way of the Newly established alignment of County
road, Pinto Ridge Road, as established in Auditor's File No. 1026812,
filed May 1,1998, and there terminating.
Containing approximately 4.10 acres more or less.
WHEREAS, a public hearing, notice of which was legally advertised
and posted at the termini, was held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday March 23, 1999 to
consider to vacate; and,
WHEREAS, the County Road Engineer did give his report in favor of
this vacation; and,
WHEREAS, the road rights of way are of no benefit to the County or
to the people of Grant County;
THEREFORE� BE IT RESOLVED� those the portions of the old
roadway and right of way therefore as described above, be hereby vacated and
abandoned.
