CONIlVIISSIONERS' PROCEEDINGS

The Grant County �ommissioners session was called to order
at 9:00 a.m. Co�nmissioner Allison and Commissioner Moore
were in attendance with the Cle�k of the Board. Chair�ar� Snead
was at�ending a meeting in Grand Coulee for the morning.
The Commissioners read arr�d approved the minutes of the
preceding session as written.
�����The Commissioners approved the beginr�ing salary of
I�arlene L. Halman of the District Court Office at $1,662.30 per
month effective March 15,1999.
e�,%��%�� The Commissioners approved the begir�ning salary of
Maureen S. Maine of the District Court Office at $1,477.60 per
month �ffective March 8,1999.
� �'-����The Commissioners signed the Notice of Separation or Work
Interruption of Sally Cassella of the Juvenile Department.
;�?��3� The Com�nissioners approved the request by the County
Auditor for the purchase of a FAX machine.
As there was no further business to corr�e before the Board
the session was continued �ntil March 23,1999.

The Session was continued at 9:00 a.ar�:. with all of the
Commissioners in at#endance with the Clerk of the Board.
The Commissioners met with the Public Works Director
regarding Bid Authorization-Asphalt, Contract Executi�n-1�sphalt
Trailer, �eimbursable Work-City of George, Columbia Basin
�onds-Buy-out?, Genie Access Issues, IUGA, USBR.iQCBID.
�����- A Public Hearing was held in the matter of vacating a portion
of certain Count� Road Right-of-Way. A motior� was made by
Commissioner Moore, seconded by Commissioner Allison to
accept the recommendation of the Public Works Director and pass
Resolutgon N�.mber 99-34-CC vacat�ng a strip of land 60 feet wide,
Iying ir� the Nartheast of the Northwest portion of Section 26,
Township 24 North, Range 28 East W.M. The motion carried.

Adamson of the J�uvenile Prc�ba���n Departme�t to $2,154 per
ma�t� effective March 1,1999.
As there was no fu�ther business to come before the Bc��rd
the session was adjourned until March 2�,199�.
