RESOLUTION NUMBER 99-23-CC
A RES�LUTIflN relat�ng �o t�e �ac�s requiring an a.pprapra.ation ,
and expendituxe of funds �or the �ol].awing department/fursd:
Veterans Assistance Fu.nd ��1Q4. Department ��'146 3
together with a budget there�or; decl.aring an emergency; and ' �
setting a public hearimg date; alI pursu�.nt to ftCW 36, 40. 140.
WHEREAS, �.t has been braught to the attention a� the t�oard
of C�unty Commiss�oners of C�rant C�urzty that an apprap�iat�an
a�d expenditure c�� funds shc�uld be authgrized fc�r t�e abc�ve-
men�i�aned depar�m�nt/fund, �agether wi�h a. buclget there�c�r, in �
tYae estimated amount .of $ ��ppp ; and
WHEREAS, expenditure o� such funds was nat included in the
current budget of Gran� County, however, emergent conditions
now require that s�ch funds be expended; and
V�HEI��A�, i� appears that an emergency exists and that the
expendi�u�e of such �ur�ds cQulc� �.4t have bee� reaso�ably �oxes�en
at the time of making said coa�ntp budget;
NOW, THE�i.�F(JRE, BE TT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COM- ,
MISS�ONERS 4F GRANT Ct3UNTY, STA°�� OF WASHiNGTON, that the afore=
rr�entioned �acts cc��stitute an emergency and that an appropriation
a�d expenditure of �unds shauld be autYaarized for -t�e fallowing
depa.rtmen�/funti: Veterans Assistance Fund ��104, Department ��146 , �

BE IT FURT�IER REStJLVED that notice o� a public hearing upon
such expenditure shall be given, said hearing to be helci an
