`VHEREAS, Bob Stevens has been reco��nended for
appointment to serve as a member of the Grouncl Water
Advisory Commiitee, and
WHEREAS, Grani County Commissioners find it is in
the best interests of the County to nominate this p�rson as a
member,
NOW, THEREF�RE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that
the Grant County Commissioners hereby nominate the
following individual as a member of the Irrigated and Dryland
Ag Ground Water Advisory Cominittee to represent Grant
County, and request that the Washington State Department of
Ecology appoint him:

officially namir�ate Bob Stevens to serve as WSU's representative on the lrrigated and Dryland
Agriculture Cammittee for #he Ground Water Managemer�t Area. Bob would replace Bob
Gillespie who is no longer a WSU faculty member. It is my understanding that appointments to
the various working committees are mada by county commissioners and that you will take
Bob's name farward to them.
I also want to let you know Gary Pelter will be the alternate fior WSU at times when Bob cannot
attend meetings. Thanks for your help in getting a WSU representative appointed to this
impor#ant committee. If you have any questions, please let me know.
