RESOLUTION NUMBER 98-200-CC
A RESOLUTION relating to the facts requiring an appropriation
and exp�ndit�.re of funds for �the follo�ving department/fund:
Current Ex�ense Fund ��001, Superior Court Department ��103 ,
together wit.h a budget there�or; declarin.g an emergency; and "
se�ting a public hearing date; aIl pursuas�t to RCW 36.40.140.
�9HEREI�S, it has been brought to the attention oi the Board
of County Cammissioners of �rant County that an appropriatian
and expenditure o� funds should. be authorized. �or the above-
mentioned department/fund, together wit�i a budget therefor, in
the estimated amount .of $ 50,000 ; a��
WHEREAS, expenditure of such funds was not included in the
current b�dget of Grant Cou.nty, however, emergsnt condit�ons
now require that such �u�ds be expended; and
WHEREAS, it appears that an emergency exists and that the
expenditure af such funds cou.ld rnot have been reasonabl� �ores�en
at the time of making said county budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT R,ESOLVED BY T�IE BOARD C7F COUNTY GOM-
MISSIONERS OF GRAN'� COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that the a�ore-
mentioned zacts constitute an emergency and that an app�opriation
and expenditure o� funds should. be authorized for the �ollowi�g
department / fund : Current Expense Fund ��001, Superior Court Dept. i�103 ,
iogether with a budget there�or.
BE IT FURTHER RES�OLVED that r�otice of a public hearing upon '
such expenditure shail be given, said hearing to be held on

Grant Caunty Court�ouse, �phr�ta, Washington, at the hour o� I
