RESOLUTION NUMBER 98-193-CC
� RESOLUTION re�ating to the facts requiring an appropriatzon
and exp�n�liture of funds for the following depar�ment/�und:
Prosecutors Crime Victim Compensation Fund ��120,Department ��162 , �
t�gether with a budget therefor; declaring an emergency; and ' i
setting a public hearirig date; all pursuant to RCW 36.40.140.
�THEREAS, it l�as been �arought to the attentiom o� the Board
of County �ommissioners of Grant County that an a�propriation
�.nd expenditure of fund� should be authorized for the above-
m�niioned department/�und, together with a budget �herefor, in
the estimated amount .of $ 800.00 ; and
WHEREAS, expe�diture of such funds was not included in the
current budget of Grant Coun�y, however, e�raergent conditions
nozv require that such funds be expended; and
WHEREAS, it appears ihat an emergency exists and that the
expenditure of sueh funds could nc�t haue been reasonabl� ioreseen
at the time of making said county budget;
NO�V, THEREF�RE, BE �T RESOLVED BY TNE BOARD OF COUNTY COM-
MISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, -�hat the afare-
mentioned facts consti�ute an.emergency and that an appropriation
and expend3ture of �unds should be authorized for the following
department /�und : prosecutors Crime Victim Comp. Fund �k120,Dept. ��162

together wi.th a budget thereior.
BE �T FURTHER RESOLVED -that notice of a public hearing ubon II
such pxpenditure shall be given, said hearing to be he�d on
December 22,1998 in the Grant Cau.nty Commissioners' Office�,
Gra�t County Cau�thouse, Ephrata, Washington, at the hour of
1•30 p.m.
