RESOLUTION NUMBER 98-192-CC
A R.ESOLUTION re�ating ta the �acts requiring an appropriatian
and expQnditure of funds for the following department/fund:
Emer�ency Services Fund ��102,Department ��144 , '
together with a budget therefor; declaring an emergenc�r; and � �
setting a gublic hearing date; aIl pursuant to RCW 36.40.140. �
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention o� the Board
a� County Ccmmissi.oners of Grant Cou�ty that an appropriation
and expendit�re �f �unds should be autharized for the above-
mentioned department/�und, together with a budget therefor, in
the estimated amoun� .of $ 2,650 , ; and
�hTHEREAS, expenditure of such funds was not includeci in the
current budget a� Grant County, however, emergent conditiar�s
now require th�.t such �unds be expended; and �
��IHEREAS, it appears that an emergency exists and that the ',
expend�ture oi such funds could not have been reasonably foreseen
at the time o� making said county budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD 0�' COUN'�Y COM-
MISSIONER.S OF GRANT COtINTY, STATE OF WASHINGT�N, that the aiore-
mentioned facts constitute an emergency and that an appropriaiaon'
and expendit�re of �unds snould be authorized �or -the iollo�uing
departmen� / fund : Emer�ency Services Fund ��102, Department i�144

together w�th a budget therefor.
BE IT FURT�IER RESOLVED that notice o� a public hearing upon
such expenditure shall be giv�n, said hearing to be held on
e emh r � 998 in the Grant County Commissioners' �f f ice ,
Grant County Courthouse, Ephrata, Washington, at �he hour oi
