RESOLUTION NUMBEl3, 9�3-186-CC
A RESOLUTION relating to the facts requiring an appropriatian
anci expenditure of iunds �or the following departmentJfund:
Domestic Violence Services Fund ��128,Department ��170
tagether with a budget therefor; declaring an emergency; and
setting a public hearir�g date; all pursuant to RCW 36.40.140.
W�IEREAS, it has been brought to the attention o� the Board
af County� Commissioners of Grant County that an appropriation
and �xpenditure of i�nds should be .authorized �or the above-
mentianed d2partment/fund, together wati� a budget thereior, i�
the estimated amount .oi $,�r5n[� ; and
�VHEREAS, expenditure of such funds was not included in the
current budget of Grant County, however, emergent conditions
now require that such �unds be expended; and
WHEREAS, it appears that an emergency exists and that the
expenditure of such funds cauld not have been reasor�ably �oreseen
at the �ime o� making said cou.nty budget;
N�W, THEREFORE, ?3E IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COM-
MISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTOI�i, that the a�ore-
meniioned facts constitute an emergency and that an appropriation
and expenditure oi funds should be authorized for the followir�g
depa�'tment/fund: Domestic Violence Services Fund ��128,Department ��170 ,
together w�th a bndget therefor.
BE IT FUR'I'H�R RESOLVED that notice o� a public nearing upan
such expenditure shall be given, said hearing to be held on
December 14,1998 in the �rant County Commissioners' Office,
Grani, County Courthouse, Ephrata, Washington, at the hour o�
i:00 p.m. .
