RESOLUTION NUMBER 98-152-CC
A RESOLUTION relating to a supplemental extension in the 1998 budget of the
CURRENT EXPENSE FUND # 001, JUVENII.,E DEPT. 117
due to unanticipated state and/or federal funds.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the Board of Grant Commissioners
that unanticipated state and /or federal funds have been made available for the 1998 budget
of the CURRENT EXPENSE FUND # 001, JUVENILE DEPT. 117
in the amount of $15,412 ; and
WHEREAS, RCW 36.40.100 authorizes supplemental appropriations from unanticdipated
state and/or federal funds after publications of notice of the time and date of a public hearing at which
the supplemental appropriations resolution will be adopted, and the amount of the appropriation,
once each week, for two consecutive weeks prior to such public hearing in the official newspaper
of the county; and
WHEREAS, publication of the requisite legal notice was made in the Daily Herald
newspaper of Grant County on 9/18&25/98 and said public hearing was held
in the Grant County Commissioners' Office, Crrant County Courthouse, Ephrata, Washington;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMNIISSIONERS of
GRANT COLTNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that the _1998

New Grant Funding
As you axe aware, the state has awarded our department with funding for implementation of
the new Community Juvenile Accountability Act. Please add $15,412.00 to Project 117, new
account #334.04.63.00—CJAA. The following list is the detailed budget for the additional
revenue for the 1998 accounting period. I will need to know the Project number you have
available for this grant.
