RESOLUT�OI�T 1�IUMBER 98-142-CC
A RESQLUTION relating io the �acts requiring an appropriation
and expanditure of f�a.nds for the follotiving department/fund:
Current Expense Fund ��001, Various Departments ,
together with a budget �herefor; declaring an emergency; and '
setting a public hearing date; all pursuant ta RCW 36.40.140.
t'�uEREAS, it has been bro�agh� to the attention o� �he Bo�.rd
of County Cvmmissioners af Gr�.nt County that an appropriation
and expenditure o� iunds should be authorized for the above-
mentioned departmeniJfund, tage�ther with a budget tY�erefor, in
the estimated amount .o� $ 3,��� ; and
WHERE�B, expenditure of such �unds was not inclu�led in t�.e
current budget of Grant County, however, emergent conditior�s
now require �hat such iunds be expended; and �
WHEREAS, it appears that an emergency exists aa�c� that the
expenditure oi such funds cauld nat have }�een reasonably foreseen�
at the time ai making said county budget; �,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOAR,D OF COUNTY COM- I';
MISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that the afore- ;
mentioned facts c�nstitute �.n emergency and that an appropriation'I
and ex}aendi�ture of �unds should be authorized �or the �o:.lowing
department / f und : Current Expense Fund ��001, Various Departments , I�
together with a bt�dget therefar.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice oi a public hearing upon
such expenditure shall be given, said hearing to be held on
September 29,1998 in the G�ant Couniy Commissioners' Q��ice
Grant County Courthouse, Ephrata, Washington, at the hour of i
1•30 p.m.
