R�SOLUTION NUMBER 98-134-CC
A RESOLUTION relating to the facts requiring an appropriation
and exp��nditure of funds for the follow�ng departmentj�und:
Current Expense Fund ��001, Courthouse Facilities Dept.��112 ,',
together with a budget therefor; declaring an emergency; and �
setting a public hearzng date; alI pursuant to RCW 36.4Q.140.
WHEREAS, it nas been brought to the attention of the Board
oi County Commissioners oi Grant County that an appro}ariation
and expenditure of �unds should be authorized ior the ai�ove-
mentioned departmentJ�unc�, together with a budget there�or, in
the estimated amouni, .of $ 500,000 ; and
WHER�gS, expenditure of such iunds was not included in the
current budget of Grant County, however, emergent candit.ians
now rec}uire that such funds be expended; and
tNHEREAS, it appears that an emergency exists and that the '
expenditure o� such funds �ould nat have been reaso�ably foreseen
at the time o� making said county budget;
NC�;i4T , THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD O�' COUNTY COM- ,
Iv7ISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATF OF WASHINGTO�i, that the afore-
mentioned �acts constitute an emexgency and that an appropriation
and expenditure oi �unds should be authorized �or the iollowi�g
c�ep�.rtment/fund: Current Expense Fund ��001, Courthouse Facilities Dept.���12
together with a budget thereior.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice of a public hearing upor ,
such expenditure shall be given, said hearing �o be held on '
September 29,1998 in the Grant C�unty Commissioners' O�fieel'
Grant County Courthouse, Ephrata, Washington, at tl�e hour of �
1:30 p.m. II
