RESOLUTION NUMBER 98-129-CC
A RESOLUTION relating to th� faets requiring an apprapriation
and exp�naiture of �unds for the zollowing department/�und:
Insurance Fund ��503, Department ��182 ,
together with a�u.dget thereior; declaring an emergency; and '
setting a pu�lic hearing date; all pursuant to RCW 36.4€3.140.
ih'HER.EAS, it has been brought to the attention of the Board
of Co�arty Cammissioners oi Grant County that an appropriation
and expenditure of funds should be authorized ior the above-
mentioned c�epartmentJfund, together with a budget therefor, in
the estimated amount .of $ 325,813 ; and
VJHEREAS, expendiiure of such funds was not included in the
current buaget of Grant County, however, emergent conditions
naw z°equire that such funds be expended; and
WHEREAS, it appears that an emergency exists and that the
expenditure of such funds could not have been reasonablg fareseer._
at the time of makirlg said county b�.clget;
NOW, THERE�ORE, B� IT RESOLVED 3Y TIiE BOARD OF COUNTY COi��-
MISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF �VASKINGTON, that zhe a�or�-
mentioned facts constitute an emergency and that an appropriation
and expenditure of funds should be authorize� for the following
departmeni/fund: Insurance Fund ��503, Department ��182 �
together w�th a budget there�or.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice o� a public hearing u�on
such expenditure shall be given, said hea.ring to be held on
September 14,1998 in the Grant County Commissioners ` Of f ice ,
Grant County Courthouse, Ephrata, Washington, at the haur of
1•00 p.m.
