RESOLUTION NUMBER 98-123-CC
�: RESOLUTI�?N relating to the �acts requiring an appxopriation
and expenditure oi funds for the �ollowing departmentJiund:
Emer�ency Services Fund ��102. De�artment ��144 ,
together with a budget �here�or, declaring an emergency; and '
setting a public hearang date; all pursuant to RCW 36.40.i40.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attentian o� the Board
of Count� Commissianers of �rant Caunty that an appropriation
and expenditure of �unds should be authorized �o� ihe abave-
mentioned department/fund, together with a budget therefor, in
the estimated amount .of $ 1.pqp ; and
WHEREAS, expenditure c� such funds was not included zn the
current budget o� Grant County, however, emergent canditians
now require that such funds be expended; and
��NHER.EAS, it appears that an emergency exists and that the
expenditurA o� such �unds could not have been reasonably foreseen
at the time of making said county budget;
NOth', THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COIINTY C4M-
MISSIflNERS OF GR.ANT COUI�ITY, S'�'ATE OF WASHINGTON; ihat the afore- ',
mentianed facts constitute an emergency and that an appropriation
and expenditure o� iuncts should be authorized �or t�ie �ollowing '�
departmentJfund: Emergency Services Fund ��102, Department ��144 ,',
together with a budget therefor.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that,notice o� a�aublic hearing upon
such expenditure shall be gaven, said hearing to be held on
Se�tember 14.1998 zn the Grant County Commissioners' Of f ice�'I,
Grant Coun�y C<>urthouse, Ep-hrata, Washington, at the hour oi i,
1:00 p.m. I
