RESOLUTION NUMBER 98-122-CC
� RESQLUTION relating to the facts requiring an appropriation
and expPnditure of �unds for tY�e following d�par�ment/fund:
Current Expense Fund ��001, Various Departments ,
together with a budget therefor; declaring an emergency; and '
setting a public hearing date; all pursuant ta RCW 36.40.140.
WHERE�S, it has been brought to the atten-�ion o� the Board
o� County Commissioners of Grant County that an appropriation
and expenditure oi iunds should be authorized ior the above-
mentioned department/iund, together wiih a budget there�or, in
the estirr�ated amount .of $218,622 ; and
WHEREAS, expenditure of such funds was not included in t�e
cu�rent budget o� Grant County, however, emergent conditions
now require that such funds be expended; and
WHEREAS, it appears that an emergency exists and that the
expenditure of such funds could not have been reasonably �oreseen
at the time o� making said county budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, B� IT RESOLVED BY THE BO��3.D QF CDUNTY COM-
MISSIONERS OF GRANT C�UNTY, STATE OF WASHIi�TGTON, that the a�are-
mentionea facts constitute an emergency and that an appropriation
and expenditure of �unds shauld be autharized �or the following
departm2nt / fund : Current Ex�ense Fund ��001, Various Departments ,
together with a budget therefor.
BE IT FURT�3ER RESOLVED that notice of a public hearing upon
such expenditure shall be given, said I�earing to be held on
��t�tPmhPr � 4, t 99� in the Grant County Commissioners ` O�f ice.,
Grant County Courthouse, Eph�ata, Washingto�, at the hour o� i
