� RESOLUTION relating to the facts requz,ring an appropriation
and expenditure o� �tznds for the �ollowing departmenti�und:
Prosecutor's Crime Victim Compensation Fund ��120,Dept.��162

togeth�r with a budget therefor; declaring an emergenc�; and
setting �, public hearir�g date; all pursuant to RCiN 36.40.140.
WHEREAi, it has been brought to the attention oi the Board
o� County Commissioners of Grant County that an appropriation
and expenditure of funds shauld be authorized ior the above-
mentioned department/fund, together with a budget therefor, ir
the estimated amount .of � 1,:572 ; and
t�HEREAS, expenditure o� stzch fun�s was not included in the
current budget of Grant County, however, emergent conditio�.s
now require that such fu.nds be expended; ancl
WHEREAS, it appears that an emergency exisis and that the
expenditu-re o� such iunds could not have been reasonably foreseen
at the time of making said county bu�get;
NOW, THEREFiJRE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE B�ARI3 QF COUNTY COM-
MZSSIONERS OF GRANT C�LTNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that the a�ore-
mentioned facts cansti�ute an emergency and that an appropr�ation
and expenditure of funds should be authorized for the iollowing
department/fui2d: Prosecutor's Crime Victim Comp,Fund ��120,Dept.��162 ,
together w��h a budget therefor.
BE iT rURTHER RESOLVED that notice o� a publie hearzng upon
such expencliture shall be given, said hearing to be held on
September 14,1998 in the Gran� County Commissioners' Of f ice ,
Grant �ounty Courthause, Ephrata, Washinbton, at the �iour o�
1:00 v.m. .
