Home My WebLink AboutResolution 16-073-CC . � �"�, BOARD OF COUNTY COMIVIISSIONEI2S Grant County,Washin�ton �� 1ZESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION RESOLUTION No. 16- -CC OF INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN GRANT COUNTY(THROUGH GRANT INTEGRAT�D SERVICES)ANI) MOSES LAKE SCHOOL DISTRICT 161 REGARDING COUNSELING SERVICES WHERE�IS, Chapter 39.34 RCW, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, permits local governmental entities to make the most efficient use of their powers by enabling them to cooperate with other localities on a basis of mutual advantage, for the purposes of providing services and facilities in a manner and pursuant to forms of governmental organization that will accord best with geographic, economic,population and other factors influencing the needs and development of local communities; and WHEI�EAS, Moses Lalce School District#161 is a public school as defined in Chapter 28A.710 RCW and authorized pursuant to Chapter 39.34 RCW to enter into interlocal agreements; and WTIEREAS, Grant County, Washington, by and through the Grant Integrated Services, is vested with authority to enter into an interlocal agreement pursuant to Chapter 39.34 RCW; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of Grant County, by and through its department of Grant Integrated Services, and Moses Lake School District 161 (hereafter District) to enter into an int�rlocal agreement for the purpose providing District students with counseling services through necassary coordination of District teachers, counselors, psychologists and/or other District representatives as may be mutually agreed upon by the parties in accordance with other provisions set forth in the Interlocal Agreement; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the attached Interlocal Agreement between Grant County Integrated Services and the Moses Lalce School District Regarding Counseling Services be executed by and between Grant County and Moses Lake School District 161. /// /// /// /// /// /// /// /// /// /// ASC Contract/Agreement Files,Interlocal Agreements Page 1 PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26tt' day of September, 2016.
