IN THE MATTER OF' VACATING ) gtESOLUTION NO. 98-101-CC
A PORTION OF CERTAIN COUNTY )
ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY )
WHEREP�S, the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County
Washington, did declare by resolution the intent to vacate certain portions
of dedicated County road right of way described as follows:
A strip of land 60 feet wide, lying in the Northeast
of the Southwest portion of Section 32, Township 20
North, Range 28 East W.M., more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of 30th Ave. And County road
formerly known as Dover St. and now known as Randolph Road;
thence following the centerline of said 30th Ave. South 00°57'
10" East a distance of 30.00 feet; thence South 89° 02' 50"
West a distance of 119.90 feet to an intersection with a curve
on the South R/W of said Randolph Road and the TRUE POINT OF
BFsGINNING; thence continuing South 89° 02' 50" West a distance
of 561.47 feet; thence North 00° 57' 10" West a distance of
60.00 feet; thence North 89° 02' 50" East a distance of 323_94
feet to an intersection with a curve on the South R/w of said
Randolph Road; thence on a curve to the left having a radius
of 1,115.00 feet, an internal angle of 20° 15' 59" and a chord
length of 244.99 feet to the true point of beginning.
RESERVING THEREFROM, perpetual easements for the operation and
maintenance of all existing utilities.
Containing approximately 0.58 acres more or less.
WHEREAS, legal notice was published in the legal paper and was
posted on each end of the property to be vacated or as near as possible;and,
WHEREAS, the County Road Engineer did give his report in favor of
this vacation; and,
WHEREAS, the road rights of way are of no benefit to the County or
to the people of Grant County;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that those portions of the
dedicated right of way for County Roads as described above, be hereby vacated
and abandoned.
