BE IT ORDAINED:
Sectior� 1, Section 24.04.050 of the Grant Cc�unty Code, adopted by Resalution No.
95-60-CC (Ordinance No. 95-6U-CC) on May 15, 1995, amended by Resolution No. 97-193-
CC (Ordinance No. 97-193-CC) on November 25, 199i, is hereby amended to read as
fol lows:
(a) For �hose praposals fqr which the County is the lead agency, th� responsible
official shall be the (�-Co�r�t�}) Director of the (�MMl1Y1F LDI.,n.�3� Gran�
County Department of Community Development, or his/her designee.
(b) For all praposals for which the County is the lead agency, the r�sponsible
official shall make the threshold determinatian, supervise scoping and
preparation ofany requir�d environmental impactstatement (EIS), and perform
any other functions assigned to the "lead a�ency" or "responsible official" by
those sections pf the S�PA rules that were adopfied by reference in WAC 173-
806-020.
(c) For fihose proposals requiring specialized exp�rtise, fihe responsible official
may request information necessary to discharge his/her responsibilities under
this chapter from, but not limited to, other D�partments, other agencies wifih
jurisdirfiion, and/or a technical advisory cammittee designated by the
legislative authority of the �ounty. Such informatior► as can be reason�bly
supplied by those Departments, oth�r agencies and the technical advisory

committee, shall be transmitted to the responsible official in a timely manner.
5ection 2. This ordinance shall take effect the 1st day of June, 1998.
A public hearing was held on the above ordinance at 1:30 o'clock pm on the
1st day of June, 1998.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOL.VED THATTHE GRANT COUNTY BOARD
OF COMMISSIONERS adopt this ardinance.
