1� RESOLUTION relating ta t%e facts requiring �,n appropriatic�n
and expenditure c�f funds fr�r the following departrr�ent/fund:
Juvenile Facilities Ganstruction �und ��302,D�t.��OQ1 s
together with a budget t�aereforg declaring an emergency; and '
setting a public hearing date; all pursuant to RCW 36.40.140.
V���iE.�S, it �as been brought im the a�tentian of the Board
4f �c�un�ty Cc�rr�i�s�.oners of Grant Cc�unty that an approprzatic�n
a�d exper��.��ttzre o� ��nds shou�d be �.utharizee� �ar the above-
�nentic�ned degartm�nt f�a�nd, toget�e� with a buc�get the�efcar, in
the estimated amaa�nt .Qf � 30,000 ,; a��
W�I�REAS, expenditu�e of �uch f�nds was not inclu.decT iz� the
current budget of Gran� County, however, emergent con�.itions
now require that such �unds be expendec�; and
V�HEREAS, it appears �hat an emergency exists and that the
expend3iure o� �uch �unds could na� have b�en reasa�ab�y �axeseen
�.t the time oi making said eoun�ty budg�t;
NOW, THER�FORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COLTNTY CQM-
IviISSIfJNERS t3F GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASI�iINGTON, that the afore=
mentioned �acts constitu�e an emergency and that an approp�iation
a.nd expenditure of �unds should be authorized for the following
