A CERTAIN COUNTY ROAD
AND RIGHT-OF-WAY
Resolution No. 9s-z2-cc
ORDER GRANTING VACATION
and superceding Res 97-145-CC
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of Grant County, Washington, were
petitioned to vacate certain portions of a County road and right-of-way described as follows:
Legal description: That portion of the E-SE Road right of way lying adjacent to Farm Unit
27, Irrigation Block 88, Columbia Basin Project better described as
follows: The South 500 feet of the North 750 feet of the West 10 feet of
the East 40 feet of the Northeas� 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 14,
Township 16 North, Range 27 East W.M.
WHEREAS, per RCW 3G.86, a notice of hearing on the report for vacation and
abandonment was published in the County official newspaper at least once a week for two
consecutive weeks precedi_ng the date fiYed for the heargng, and a copy of said notice was posted
for at least twenty days preceding the date fixed for hearing at each termini of the County road
or portion thereof to be vacated or abandoned; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners did consider the report given by the
County Road Engineer, together with any evidence for or objection against said vacation and
abandonment; and
WHEREAS, the above described County road ri�hts-of-way are not useful as part af the
County road system and the public will be benefitted by the vacation and abandonment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners
vacates and abandons all interest in the County road and right-of-way described above and
orders thas action to supercede R.esolution No 97-145-CC as recorded under Auditor's File
Number 1012745 on Aug. 29, 1997.
