A RESOLUTI�N relating t4 the �acts requiring an appropxiatian
and exp�nditure af funds for the fo�Iow�ng departmentJ�und:

�ogether with a bud.get �herefor; declaring an emergency; and �
setting a public hearing date; all pursuant to RCW 36.40.140.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention o� the Board
o� County Commzssioners o� Grant Co�anty that an appropriatian
and expendzture o� �unds shauld be authorized for the above-
me�tzaned department/fund, �age�her with a budge� there�or, in
the es�imated amount .o� � 123.850 ; and
WHEREAS, expenditure ai such �unds was nat included in the
current budget o� Grant Caunty, hawever, emergent conditions
now require that su.ch �unds be expended; and
�'U33EI�EAS, it appears tha� an emexgencs exists and that the
expenditure o� such funds could nat have been reasanably �areseen
at the ti.me o� making sazd county budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, B�E IT RESOLVED BY T�IIE BOARD OF COUNTY COlUI-
I�?ISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that the afore-
mentioned iacts constitute an emergency and that an appropriation
and expenditure o� �unds shauld be authorized for the �ollowing
d.ep�.�"t�ient/�und: �urrent Expense Fund ��001, Various ➢epartments

together with a budget there�or. _ —.^
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that natice o� a public he�.ring upon
such expenditure shall be given, said hearing to be helcl on
December 21 1999 in the Grant County Commissioners' Q�ii.ce,
Grant County Courthouse, Ephrata, Washington, at�the haur n�
