WHEREAS, Grant Caunty Public Works Department, acting thraugh its Saiid
Waste Advisory Gommittee has prepared �n amendment io the currentiy adopied Grant
County Solid Waste Management Plan Update, January 1995 said amendment being
entitled; Waste Dispasa( 4p#ions: Expansion of Ephrata Lartcifrll vs, Long-Haui, June 1999,
hereinafter referred ta as the "Study", and
WHEREAS, the "Study" recommends based upon current information the
leas#-cost option for the dispasal of in-Caunty So4id Wastes.
NC1W, THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED that the Grant Gour�ty Board afi
Coun#y Commissianers hereby adopt the "Study" as an amendment to the Grant Gouniy
Sa1id Waste Management Pian Llpdate, January 19�5 as a planning guide for salid waste
handling �n Grant County.
