Brcwn Hcnarabie Commssioners: I know you are each ativare of Jim Brown's long and eourageous battle with caneer. One casualty of his disease is Jim's sick Ieave and annual leave, now reduced to levels irsuffieent tcmeet the demards cfhis medical czrcumstances. We request that you adopt a resolution permitting other caunty employees to donate accumulated sick leave to Jim's account. We're condent that the friendship and respect he has earned cver nearly 18 years of service on the bench wzll quickly praduce more than enough c3cnated time to cover the needs of Tim and lus family. Despite iis doctcrs' requests, lim has not asked to be relieved of his duties. As is consistent with his record of dedicated service, he strugles on, at times severely challenged by the demands of tte workday. We sincerely appreciate ycur efforts on behalf of this mcdel emplayee. Very truly yours, ` ;, t.,:F:y d.'"3PSSi33 .. Evan E.
