tagether with a budget therefor; declaring an emergency; and �
setting a public hearing date; all pur�uant to RCW 36. 40. 140.
WHEREAS, i� has been brought t4 the attention of the Board
o� County Commissioners o� G�ant County that an appropriatian
and expenditure o� funds should be autharized �or the abave-
mentioned depaxtmentJ�us�d, together with a budget there�ar, in
the estimated amount .o� $ 500Q.Q0 ; and
V�HERE�S, expenditure af such �u�ds wa� not included in the
curre�.t budge� o� Grant County, however, em�rgent conditions
now require that such �unds be expended; and �
WHEREAS, it appears that an emergency exists and that the
expenditure o� such �unds cauld nat have been reasanably �areseen
at the time o� making said county budget ;
NOW, THEREFORE, E�E IT RESOLVED BY THE B4ARD OF COITNTY COM-
MISSI(JNERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that the a�are-
mentioned �acts cons�it�zte an emergency and that a.n appropriation
and expenditure o� �unds should be authorized �or the followi�g
depa�tmei2t f fu.nd: Current Exp.Fund ��OOI, Opr.Transfers-Out I}ep�.��142 �
together wyth a, budget there�or.
BE IT FURTHER RES�LVED that notice o� a public hearing upon
such expendzture shall be given, said hearing ta be held on
october 18 1999 in the Grant County Cammissianers ' O�fi.ce,
Grant County Courthouse , Ephrata, Washingtan, at the hour o�
1:30 p.m, ,
