HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 99-141-CC ' < ` , , j , � BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON In the matter of approving Resolution Number 99-141-CC the Fowler zone change request from Light Industrial to General Fowler Zone Change Request Commercial. RECITALS: WHER�AS,the proposal is not within a Critical Area as defined by the Grant County Critical Areas Devalopment Ordinance; WHEREAS,the proposal is consistent with the Grant County Comprehensive P1an and surrounding uses; WHEREAS,the proponent has presented suf�cient evidence that changed circumstances ui the area of the subject property warrant a rezone of the property; WHEREAS,the proponent has presented sufficient evidence that there is sufficient need in the area for Geiieral Commercial Zoning; WII�REAS, a determination of Non-Significance was issued for this proposal on August 9, 1999 and the requirements of SEPA have been met; WHEREAS,the SEPA appeal period ended on September 7, 1999 without appeal; WHEREAS,the Grant County Planning Commission held an open record public heariitg on September 1, 1999 and made a recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners to approve the zone chasige request; and WH�REAS,the Grant County Board of County Commissioners held a closed record public meeting on September 14, 1999, and approved the zone change request. NOW�THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,that the Grant County Board of County Commissioner do hereby approve Lariy Fowler's zone change request to rezone lots 2 and 3 of blocic 4 in the Moses Lalce Industrial Parlc from Light Industrial to General Commercial.
