A RESOLUTIC7N relating to the �ac�s requiring an. appropriation
and expenditure o� �unds for the following department/�und:
Repairs & Demoli�ion �unci ��I18, Departmen.t ��1.60 ,
toge�her with a budget i,herefor; declaring a� emergency; and �
�etti.ng a public hearing date; a�l pursuant to RCW 36.40,140,
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention crf the Board
a� Caunty Commissioners of Grant County that an appropriation
and expendzt�.re of �unds shouZd be authorized �or the above-
mentioned department%�und, �ogether with a budget therefor, in
the estimated amount .o� $ 10,000 ; and
WHEREAS, expenditure o� such �unds was not included in ihe
current budget o� Grant County, hawever, emergent co�dztior�s
now require that such funds be expended; and �
�9AEREAS, it appears that an emergency exists and tha� the
expenditure o� such �unds could not have been reasanably �oreseen
a�t the tz�e of makzng said county budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, �E IT RESOLVED BY T�IE BOARD QF C4UNTY C4M-
MISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, -that the a�ore-
mentioned iacts constit�te an emergency and that an apprapriation
and expenditure af funds should be au�horized �or the �ollawing
department%�und: Repairs & demolition Fund ��118,Dept.��160 ,
together w�th a budget there�ar.
BE IT FURTHER RES4LVED that.noti.ce o� a pub�ic hearing upon
such expenditure shall be given, said hearing to be held o�
August 30,1999 , in the Grant Coun�y Comrnissioners' O�fice,
Gxant County Caurthouse, Ephrata, Washing�on, at the hour oi
1•00 p.m.
