RESOLUTION NIiIVIBER 99-125-CC
� RESdLUTI4N relating to the �acts requ�ring an appropriation
and exp�nditure of �unds �or the �ollowing clepartment/fund:
Law & Jtzs�ice �'und ��121, De�artment ��1 b3 ,
together with a budget there�or; declaring an emergency; and �
se�ting a public hearing date; all pursuan� �o RCW 36.40.140.
WHEREAS, it has been braught to the attention of the Board
a� Caunt� Cammissioners o� Grant County that an appropriation
and expenditure af �unds should be authorized for the above-
menti.oned depa�tment/�und, tagether with a budget �here�or, in
the es�ima�ed amount .o� � b5,0o0 ; and
WHEREAS, expenditure af such �unds was not included in. the
current budget o� Grant Caunty, hawever, emergent cor�ditions
now require that such �unds be expended; and �
W�IEREAS, it appears tha� an emergency exists and that the
expend�ture o� sucb �unds couZd r�ot have been reasonabl� �oreseen
at the time o� making said co�anty budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, B-E TT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF CC?UNTY COM-
MISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTQN, that �he a�ore-
mentioned facts constit�te an emergency and that an appropriation
and ��penditure a� �unds should be authorized for the �ollawing
dep�,rtment f�und : Law & Justice Fund ��121 De�artment �i�163 �
tagether with a budget there�or.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice of a public hearing upan
such expenditure shall be given, said hearing to be held on
August 30,1999 in the Grant County Commissioners ` O��ice,
Grant County Caurthouse, Ephrata, Washington, at the hour of
I•00 �.m .
