� RESOLUTIaN relating ta the �acts requ�ring an appropxiation _
and expendittzre a� �unds �or the �ollowing departmentJfund:
Emer�encv Services Fund ��102,Department �f144 �
toge�her with a budget therefor; declaring an emergency; and �
setting a public hearing date; all pursuant �o RCW 36.40.140,
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the atten.ti.on af the Board
o� Caunty Commissioners o� Grant County that an appropriation
and expenditure a� �unds shoul.d be authorized �or the above -
menii.o�ed department/fund, together with a budget thereior, in
the es�imated amount .c�� $ 3 000 ; and
WHEREAS, expenditure oi such funds was not included in the
curren� budget o� Grant County, however, emergent conditions
now require that such �unds be expended; and �
WHEREAS, it appears that an emergency exists and that the
expenditt�.re a� such funds could not have been reasanably �oreseen
at the time of makir�g said county budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE B4ARD Q�' CC?UNTY CO�-
MISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that the a�ore-
mentionecl �acts constitute an emergency and that an apprapxiation
and expenditure oi �unr�s shauld be autharized ior the io].lawing
dep�.�'tmellt%�und: Emer�ency Services Fund ��102,Department �6144 �
togethes��vAth a budget there�or.
BE IT FURTHER. RESOLVED �hat n.otice o� a public heari�g upan
such expenditure shall be given, said hearing ta be held an
Ju1�19,1999 in the Gran� County Commissianers` O�fzce,
Grant County Courthouse, Ephrata, Washington, at the haur ai
