together with a budget therefor; declaring an emergency; and '
setting a public hearing da�e; all pursuant to RCW 36.44. 140.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the Board
of Cannty Commissioners o� Gran-� County that an appropriat�.on
and expenditure of �unds should be authorized �or �he above-
me�tzoned department/�und, toge�her with a budge� �here�or, in
the es�imated amount .o� � 30,000 ; and
WHEREAS, e�penditure af such �unds was not included zn the
current budget o� Grant Caunty, however, emergent conditions
now require tha-t such �unds be expended; and
iN�EREAS, i� appears that an emergenc� exists and tha� the
expendzture af such �unds cauld not have bee� reasonably �oreseen
at the time o� making said coun�y budget ;
NOW, THEREFORE, B-E IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY CQM-
MISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that the �.fare-
mentioned �acts constitute an emergency and that an appropriation
and expenditure a� �unds should be au�horized �or the �ollowing
depa,Y'tment/�u11d: Renairs & Demolition �und ��118, Department ��I60
together wyth a budget therefor. � �
BE IT FiTRTHER RESOLVED that notice af a public heari�g upfln
such expenditure shall be given, said hearing to be held on
.Tune 22 1999 in the Grant Coun-�y Commissioners ' O�fice,
Grant County Courthouse, Ephrata, Washington, at the hour a�
1-00 p.m. .
