WI-IEREAS,it has been braught to the attention of the Board of Grant Comrnissioners
that unanticipated state and 1or federal funds have been made available for the 1999 budget
of the CURREN'I'EXPENSE FL3ND#001,J[.T�ENILE DEPT.#i 1'7
in the arrzount of $947 ;and
'�T�IEREAS,RCW 36.40.100 authorizes supplemental appropriations from unallticdipated
state andtor federal funds after pubiications of natice of the time and date of a public hearing at which
the supplemental approprsations resalutio�will be adopted,and the arrzount ofthe apprap��iation,
once each week,for two consecutive weeks prior t4 such pnblic hearing i�the official newspaper
of the county;and
WHEREAS,publication of the requisite legal notice was made in the Daz1.y Herald
ne�vspaper af Grant Caunty an 5/18&24/99 and said public hearing was held
i�the Grant County GQmmissioners"Office,Grant County Caurthouse,Ephrata,Washingtan;
NOW,T�IEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY TI�E BOARD{JF COUNTY C4NIMISSIC}NERS of

As disctissed vvith you earlier toda�, T ar� respectfiilly �requesting the purchase c�f a security
cabinet for the comp��ter server in our Moses LakE ofi"ice. The cost of tlie cabinet is $946.29,
which can be taken aut of grant ftmding. The first q�rarter of this �ear, the revenue frarn our
Option B caseload has �xceeded our expeY�ses by ap��roximatel� $2,300. Tliis �rant is an
a�prap�iate fi7nd to use for tliis pitrpose since o�ir Moses Lake ofi''ice is now the laeadqttarters
