WHEREAS, the Grant County Commissioners have praperly
given �otic� of ihe public hearing held Dec�mber 4, 2000� to cansider the
Grant County road budget for the 2001 calendar year, pursuant ta
RC�V $4.55.120; and
WFI�REAS, Grant County has a population of aver 10,4�1fl, and
WHEREAS, the Grant County Commissioners, after hearing, and
having duly considered all releva�tt evidence and testimony presented,
has deterr�ined that the Gran� County I�oad Budget required an
elevation in property tax revenue from fih� previous year, in additian to
the elevation result�ng from ihe addiiir�n af new construci�on and
improvements to property and any advancement in the value of state
assessed property, in order ta discharge i�te egpeeted egpenses and
obligations of the Grant county Ro�d budget and is in its best interest;
NQV� Z��EREFURE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED►, ihat the
regular praperty tax ievy, in addiiio� to any amouni resulting from the
addition o� new consiruction and improvements to properiy and any
increases in the value of siate assess�d prape�ty, is hereby authoriz�d
for the 2Q01 Ievy at L42 percent or the amount of �5,771,924.
