and expenditure oi �unds for the �allawing depa.rtmentJfund:

together with a budget therefor; declaring an emergenc�; and '
s�tting a public hearing date; all pursuant to RCW 36.40.140.
WAEREgS, it has been brought to the attentian of the Board
of County Commissioners of Grant Coun-�y that an appropriatian
and expenditure o� �unds shauZd be autharized �or the abave-
men.tioned departmen.t/�und, together with a bt�dget there�or, ir�
the estimated amaunt .o� $ $145,310 ; and
WxEREAS, expenditure o� such funds was not included in the
current budget ai Grant Count�, hocvever, emergent eonditions
now require that such �unds be expended; and �
WHEREAS, it appears that an emergency exists and that the
expenditure o� such �unds could not have been reasonably �oreseen
a-� the time of making said county budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, B-E ZT R.EStJLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNT� COM-
MISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTqN, that the a�ore-
mentioned �acts constitute an emergency and tha� an appropriation
and expenditure of funds should be authorized for the following
depa.rtmt�r:zzt/�u72d: �urrent Exe�nse Fund. Various Departments �
together wyth a budget there�or.
BE ST FURT�LER RESOLVED -�hat notice of a public hearing upon
such expenditure shall be given, sa3d hearing ta be held on
