RESOLUTION NUMBER 2000-135-CC
A RESOLUTIQN relating to the �acts requiring an appropriation
and expenditure o� �unds far the �allowing department/�und:
Emer enc �
tagether with a budget there or; declaring an emergency; �and "
setting a publie hearing date; all pursuant to RCti1� 36.40.'I40.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention o� the Board
o� County Commissioners o� Grant County that an appropriation
and expendi�ure o� �unds should be autharized for the above-
mentioned department/fund, together with a budget there�ar, zn
the estimated amount .o� $ ��i�� ; and
�h'HEREAS, expenditure o� such �unds was not included in the
current budget a� Grant Count�, however, emergent conditions
now require that such funds be expended; and �
WHEREAS, it appears that an emergency exists and that the
expenditure of such funds could no-t have been reasonably �areseen
at the time of making said county budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COTJNTY C�M-
MISSI�NERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTQN, that the a�are-
mentioned �acts constitute ax� emergency and tha� ar� appropriation
and expenditure of funds shauld be authorized �or the �ollowing
department`�und: Emerge��.Serv;�c�� F,,�� �� nQ�t �b�4t� _
together with a budget there�or,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that .notice o� a public hearing upon
such expenditure shall be gi.ven, sa�d hearang to be held on
�r�vPm�¢r ?1 , 20pp in the Grant County Conunissianers ` O�fice,
Grant County Courthouse, Ephrata, Washington, at the hour of
