RES�LUTION NUMBER 2000-230-CC
A RESOLUTION relating to the facts requir�ng an appropriation
and expenditure o� �unds �or the �ollawing department/fund:
t'„rrPnt F.x�e se Fund �001. Suoerior Court Department i�103 ,
together with a budg�t there�or; declaring an emergency; and `
setting a public hearing date; all pur�uant to RCW 36.40. 140.
WHEREAS, it has been brought ta the attention o� the Baard
of County Commissioners of Grant County that an approprza�ian
and expenditure o� �unds should be authorized far the abave-
mentioned department/fund, together with a budget there�or, in
the estimated amount •o� $ �3�,2b5 ; �nd-
WHEREAS, expenditure of such �unds was nat included in the
current budget a� Grant County, however, emergent conditions
now require that such �unds be expended; and �
WHEREAS, it appears that an emergency exists and that the
expenditure o� such �unds could not have been reasonably foreseen
a� the time a� making sazd caunty budget;
NQW, THEREFORE, �E IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF CaUNTY COM-
MISSIONERS OF GRANT C�UNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that the a�ore-
mentioned �acts canstit�.ate an emergenc� and that an appropriation
and expenditure o� �u�ds should be autharized far the �ollowing
d.epa.�'tment/�U.11d: t'„r�e t Ex�ense Fund ��001, Su-periar Court Dept.��103
together w�th a budget there�or. �
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED -�hat notice of a public hearing upon
such expenditure shall be given, said hearing to be held on
october 31, 2000 in the Grant Countp Commissianers ' 4��ice ,
Grant Caunty Courthouse, Ephra�a, Washington, at the haur o�
1:00 o.m. �
