The Grant County Cammzssioners ses�ion was called to order at 9:�0
a.m. with aIl of ihe Commissioners in attendance with the Cle�l� of the
Board.
The Commissioners read and approved the minutes of the precedin�
sessian as written,
��k� ��� A mation was made by Coznmissioner Snead, seconded by
Commissioner Allisc�n that CJrdinance Nj.�mber 2000-121-CC relating to the
ad�ptican c�f Interim �fficial Controls tempararily amending the residential
develapment densities �n Rural Residential 2(RR�,ia ), Rural Reszdentiai 3
(RR3), Rural Community {RC�, Ag�ieuiture Service Center (ASCj,
Recreational Developmeni (RD}, Shareline I?evelapment 1(SDI, �horeline
Development 2(SD�}, Shoreline Development 3(SD3}, Shoreli�e
Develc�pment 4(SD4), and prohibiting non-agricultural indus�rial
development and commercial deveiopment in Rura1 General Cammercial
(RGC}, Rural Neighborhood Commercial (RNC), Rural Freeway
Commereial (RFC), Rural R�creational Commercial (RRC), Rural Light
Industrial {RLI}, and Rural Heavy Industrial {E�HS}, Rural Residential 2

��? ��i� A mation was made by Commissione� Allison, seconded by
Commissianer 5nead �hat Resoluiion Number 200C1-122-CC adopting the
WA-Cert �..ecommended priority �a.siing be passed. The motion carried.
�.�,� �°�� The Can�nissioners apprc�ved the startir�g salary of Ken Ho1la�ay as
the Revenue Off'�cer in the Treasurers 4ffice at $Z,250 per month �ffeetiv�
Qc�obe� 9��, 240{�.
����"�.� The Commissioners approv�d the starting saiary c�f Susan {Jx�ey-
Ramaker as the Mortgage Depu�y in the Treasurers Office at $1,924 per
month effeetive Septemb�r 28, �000.
;����.�T�e Gammissioners re�eived a 1\�otice of Intent to sue frorn Craig
Scot� Maxw�Il. The matter was referred to the Prosecuting Attorn�y for
handling.
j����7� The Comrnissioner� signed �he Request fo� Transfer of Fun.d� �n the
Superior Court Department in the amoun� of $6,800.
� r;;���As of thzs date ihe Board iay a majc�riiy vc�te does approve far payment
those vouchers included in the Iist fzled �n the Auditors (Jffice 9/29/2040 in
the ta�tal amount of $65,420.71.
°�` ��'��As of this date the Board by a m_ajority vote does approve for paymeni
those �ouchers included in �he list filed in the Auditors Qf�ce 10/2/2000 in
the total amount of $427,4��.65.

Comm�ssioner Moare that R.esoiuiian Number 2040-123-CC in the matter af

Randal Nicssner appeal regarding a rezone request. A motian was made by
Con�nissioner Sn�ad, seconded by Cammzssioner Allzsan to deny the

The sessian was continued ai 9:00 a.m. by Chai�.rmman Maor�. All of
th� Commissioners were zn attendance with the Clerk of the Baard.
The Cammissirane�s met wzth the Publzc Works Director �egard�ng
Siansfield Road-Dauglas County, Possible RID, Road ` 13' NW, Traffzc

;�� �` t� The Co:mmissianers signed the Payroll Warrants List #116� 11
th�ough #117276 for the man�h of September.
�/,� ��� The Comnussioners approved the salary increase of Albert H. Lin of
the Prosecuting Attorney's Uffzce to Depuiy Prosecutor II, effective October
l, 2000.
�� �;��� The Commissioners appraved the salary increase of Brent A. DeJang
vf the Prosecuting Attarney's Uffice to Deputy Prosecutar TII, effec�ive
o��a��� �, L000.
;�.���'�,,The Commissioners held a Publzc Heari�g to revzeur community
development and housing needs, infarm citizens of the availabi�ity af funds
and eligib�e uses af the state Community Development Block Grant, and
receive comments on proposed activities, particularly from Iaw and
maderate income persons and persans residzng in the Grant County area.
The hearing was opened by Chairman Debarah Moore. She invited Al
Lundberg of North Columbia �ommunity Action Counci� to speak. Mr.
Lundberg gave a report Qn the �ast years programs. There was no publrc zn
attendance. Handauts in English and Spanzsh regarding the programs were
made available for any �nterested persons A mation was mad� by
Commissioner Snead, seconded by �ommissioner Moore to authorized the
Chairman to sign the required paper work. The motion carried.
3�� ��� The Commissioners approved the request by Ca�hleen 1�Ieils af the
Prosecuting Aiiorney's C�ffic� to change her planned vacation leave to szck
leave due to her husbands heart at�ack.
t�$ `� ��- The �ommissioners set a Public 1Vleeting for C�ctober 24, 2400 at 1:30
p,m. regarding the P�at Alt�ration request by Eliseo Perez. Mr. Perez wants
to divide a 9.53 acre parcel inio two approximately 4,7�6 acre parcels.
As there was no further business to come before the Board the session
was adjourned until Qctober 9, 240f}.
