necessary ta transfer funds within the current budget of the above-named Caunty Department(s) in the
amounts enumerated below; and
WH�REAS, there is no expendit�rrre of fiinds nat previously budgeted but a transfer pursuant to
R.C.W. 36.40.I00 and Couniy and State auditing procedures;

I would like to request the transfer o� funds from the Law and Justice fund to Information Services in the
�mount of $ 38,425.26 fio cover the purchase of 35 new computers, one new printer and 35 licenses for
Tiny7erm (emulation program used to connect to 5pillman) fior the Sheriff's pepartment. The purchase
was rnade based on a meeting F2obert Nlosf�er and I had �vith you on iuesd�y, May 23, 200fl.

I would like to request the transfer of funds from the Law and Justice fiund to Informa#i�n Services in the
amount of $ 13,104 to cover the purchas� of a Cisco F'IX Firewall, instailation anc� configuration and
maintenance on the firewall. The need to purchasa a firewall is based on a requirement from the State
when attaching t� th�ir IGN (inter(�overnmental P�fetwork). The connection to the IGN is needed for the
Jail and thEir new fin�r rintin system, and any department that needs access to fihe Office ofi the
Courts. Attached you will find a quote for the PIX Firewall from Resource Computing. �`-
