The Grant County Commissioners sessian �vas called ta order at 9:Q0
a.1n. by Chaiz�nan Deborah Maore. Commissioner Snead was in attendance
with �he Clerk of the Board. Commissianer Allzson was out of tc►wn.
The Comrnissioners read and app�oved the m�nuies c►f the preceding
sesszon as w�iiter�.
#�� ��� The Cc�mznissioners approved the request by the Grant Caunty PARC
for Wendy Hanover and Sydney Platt to travel out of siate to attend the
Northwest Regzonal Mentor Training.
��` ��� The Comm�ssioners approv�d the stariing salary af Ninet�� L. Robare
of�he Dist�zct Court Office at $6.50 per hour effective August 9, 2000.
��-fI, ��, � The Commissionexs approved the request by the Sher�ff's C}ffice for
out of state travel far Deb Shay ta at�end a WarrantslTransport conference in
Estes Park, Colarado.
,��/�'�,� The Commi�szoners apprflved the request by the Shexiff's C}ffice for
the purchase of poxtabl� radios from the Law and Justic� fund.
��,.� ��`�,� A mation was made by Commissioner Snead, seconded by
Coznmissioner Moore that Resolutian Number 2{}Ot}-92-�C regarding
transfer of sick J.eave to an emp�oye� ir}. the Sheriff's C?ffice who zs
combating a serious il3ness be passed. The motian carried.
t�r'��y The Cornmissioners recezved a Summons and Complaint from Fhillip
M. �Ii.ntz, et ux, et aL The matter was referred to the Prasecutin� Aitorney
for handling.
������ �he Gommissioners received a Summons and Complaint from Dennis
Wzlliams. The matter was refe�ed to the Prosecuting At�onaey for handling.
As there �vas no further business to come before the Board the session
was continued until August 15, 2400.

T`he session was cc�ntinued at �:40 a.m. with all of �he Cornmissioners
in at�endance.
The Cor�missioners met with the Pubiic Works D�rector regarding
I O:flO a.m. Bid �'JpeXung (Bridge No. 156, Fiess Rd.}, � 0:30 a.m. Hearing
(Road Establishment, Quailway), I1:00 a.m. Hea�ing (Surplus Pr�perty),
Bid Authorizaiion-Adams &�everiy Burke tJverlays, Radio System,
Personnel.
��:/5�.� f The Commissioners held a bid opening on Bridge Na. 156, �`iess
Road. A mation was made by Comn�is�ioner Sneac�, seconded by
Cammissioner A.1lison to re#�er th� bids to Publzc Works far their review and
recommendati+�n. The moiiQn carried.
������,The Commissioners held a public hearing regarding the intent to
estab�zsh a certazn road as part of ihe Coun�y Road sysiem. After review of
the provided information a moiion was made by Commissianer Snead,
seconded by Commisszaner Allison ta �stablisl� Quail Way �Torth West. The
motion carried.
�� (�?, �3 The Commissioners held a public hearing regarding ihe matter of
County surplus equipmen� sale. A motion was made by Cammissioner
Snead, seconded by Commissianer Allison thai Resolutian 20a0-93-CC
granting the sale be passed. The matzon carried.
;�,����A motion was made b� Commissioner All�son, seconded by
�amznissianer Snead that Resoluiion Number 2000-94-CC in the ma�ter af
declazi.ng surplus equzpment be passed. The motion carried.
/���3,� The Commzssianers signed the Auiharization to call far bids on
Adams Road and Beverly-Burke Road Qve�lays. Bid opening to be held
August 29, 200� at 10:00 a.m.
�'� i�,��A mation was m�de by Commissianer Allison, seconded by
Corn�nissioner Snead that Resolutzon Number 2000-95-CC zn the mat�er of
establishing Quai1 Way NW Road be passed. The motior� carried.
1�.; (�;3� The Commissioners upheld the recommendatian af the Public Warks
Direcior and awarded the bid for Bridge #I S6, Fiess Road to A& R
Constructian, Inc.
��-� �� � Chairman Moore was authorized to sign the paper work for year two
of the Community Mabilizaiian against Substance Abuse funding.
������ As of this date the Board by a maj orzty vate does apprave for payment
those vouchers included 'zn the list filed in the Auditors C►ffice 8114/2000 in
the tatai amount of $1,639,544.01.
As there was na further business to come befare the Soard the sessian
was adjourned until August 21, 2{14�.
