The Commisszoners read and approv�d the minutes of the preceding session as written. ��-� ���' Th� Commissianers appraved the requ�st by the Grant Caunty PARC for a budget e�ension in �he amount of $ I 50,000 from ihe Siate Incentive Grant. �'� �� � The Commissioners approved the request by Crrant Mental Healthcare far porene Bendicksen to attend the Rural Mental Health Symposium in �ewiston, Idaho. i�' (�'/L� The Commzssianers appraved the salary increase of Camille De Vaniier ofthe Prosecuiing A�ttorney's �ffice to 100°l0 ofa Legal Secretazy I. ����� E The Commissianers appraved �he request by Donna Hodgsor� af the Prosecutzng Aitorney's (J�ce to be allowed to take 1 day and 3 hours �eave wzthout pay. ¢��- ��t�- The Commissioners signed a Notic� of Public Hearing for the supplemental budget for pomestic Violence Fund # 128, Department # 170 in the amount of $84,791 from unanticipated state/fedexal funds. Public Hearing to be held Augusi 22, 2000 at 1;00 p.m. g;�, i�/� The Commissioners received notification from Penny L. Sibley, Counl.y Coroner that she was resigning from her pasition October 31, 2000 due to moving fram the area. ��- i�I� The Commissioners signed a Hold Harmless Agreernent for the Washington Natzonal Cruard tQ mave a Bradley Fighting Vehicle on County roads io reach the C"rrani County Fair. ��/�'f� 1�5 ofthis date the Board by a majority voi� does approve for paymeni those vouchers fzled in the Auditors Office 8(7120{}0 in the tatai amount of $S 88,261.03 _ r�� �, `� The Cammissioners helct a Public I-�earing and a mation was �nade by Cornmisszoner Allison, seco�ded by Commissioner Snead tha,t Resolution Number 2000-90-GC authorizing an appropriation and expendiiu.re of funds �or the Law and Justice Fund # 121, Department # 163 in the amount of $ I 8,b25 be passed. The motion carried. The Commissioners met with the Public Works Directar rega,rdin.g 10:00 a.m. bid op�ning {`20' 1�TW Pedestrian Trail}, Vehicle Purchase- Warden School District, Gravel Road-Equity. ��.-i ��.�.�'., The Commissioners signed th� Public Works Claims Fund Voucher Approval #7-1 through #7-182 in the total amount of $�,813,263 .25. _� I�'�-$ The Corr�missioners held a Bid 4�pening on Road 20-�`�T�N Pedestrian Path. A motion was made by Cammzssioner Snead, seconded by Commzsszoner Maore that the bids be referred to the Public Works Director for review and recommendation. The motion carried. ��-� ��.�.�'he Commissianers approved the recammendation af the Public �orks Direcior and awarded the contrac� for 20-��V Pedes�ian Path to Baszn Paving Co. in the amount of $31,575.10. August 9, 2000 F���� The session was cQntinued at i:00 p.�z� n for a Public Hearing regard'zng Grant �ounty Development Regulations, with Chaiz�nan Moore and Commisszoner Snead in attendance with ihe Clerk of the Board. The �earing was opened by Chairman Deborah N�oore. She invzied Sco�t �Iarl� to explazn the reasc�n for the hearing and the process the Caunty was going through to adapt Development Regulatlons in conjunction wzth ihe Comprehensive Plan. The Commissioners took verbal testimony from those in attendance wha wished to sp�ak and also took tivrztten testimony that will be made a part of the recard. A motion was made by CommissiQner Snead, seconded by Commission�r Maore to cic�se o�al testimony, The moiion carried. A mc�tion �vas made by Commission�r Snead, seconded by Commissianer Moore to extend the writien comment period until 5:00 p.m. on August 23, 2000. The motion carried.
