RESOLUTI�N NUIvIBER 2000-77-CC
A RESOLUTION relating to the iacts requiring an appropriation
and expenditure o� funds �or the following departmentifu�d:
Law and Justice Fund #12I, Department ��163 ,
tagether with a budget therefor; declaring an emergency; and `
setting a publ.ic hearing date; all pursuant to R.CW 36.4Q.140.
W.€�EREAS, it has been brought to the a�tention o� the Baard
o� Count�r Commisszoners o� Grant Caun�ty that an apprapriation
and expenditure oi funds should be autharized for the above-
mentianed department/fund, together with a budget thereior, in
the estimated amaunt .o� $ $18,625 ; and
WHEREAS, expenditure o� such funds was nat included in. the
current budget af Grant County, however, emergent conditions
n.ow require that such �unds be expended; and �
WHEREAS, it appears that an emergency exists and tha�t the
expenditure of such iunds could not have been reasonably �oreseen
at �he time oi making said county budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, �E IT RESOLVE� BY THE B�ARD OF C4UNTY COM-
MISSIONERS OF GRANT C�UNTY, STATE �F WASHINGTON, that the afore-
mentioned �acts eanstitute an emergency and that an appropriation
and expenditure oi �unds should be authorized �or the �ollawing
department/�und: Law and Justice Fund ��121, Department ��163 ,
together w�t3a a budget thereiar.
BE TT FURTHER RESOLVED �hat notice of a public hearing upon
such expenditure shall be given, said hearing ta be held on
August 7� 2��0 in the Grant Count� Commissianers' df�ice,
Grant Caunt� Courthause, Ephrata, Washington, az the haur o�
