The Grant County Commissionzrs session vvas called to order at 9.00
a.m. by Chairman L�eborah Maore. All of the Commissioners were in
attendance with the Clerk of the Board.
The Comznissioners read and approved the minutes af the preceding
session as u�rztten.
�� l���'�The Commissioners appointed Larry Duffner �o fill the unexpired
term af Section 2 on the Grant County No�ious �Veed Board.
i��?�� The Gommissioners approved the request by the Prasecuting Attorney
for the purchase of a copy matching from Law and Justice Funds in the
amaunt o�' $17,274.60 and a maintenance agreement in the amount Q�
$1,332.�1.
`�- ¢`� � The �ommisszoners approved the request by the Juvenile Probation
Department far revisions in the present security system zn the Wheeler Road
office in the amaunt of $2,200.
4��'� t� � Chairm an Moore was autl�orized to sign the ArchitecturaUEngineering
Agreement with KDF Architecture for the Predesign of Grant Mental
Hea�thcare.
�� 1'���,T'he Cammissianers approved the request by the Grani County Clerk
for the purchase of a paper-folding machine in the amount flf $2,961.
��� 1�'�The Commissioners signed approval of the Requ�st for Trans�er of
funds in the Juvenile Probation Department, Oper�.ting Fund in the amount
of $1,000.
X�-� ���� The Commissioners approved the salary af Rosita Castillo of th�
Grani Couniy PARC at $2,101.71 per month.
�4- ����Chairman Moore was authoxized to szgn the Notzce of Separa�ion or
Work Interruption far Winana J. Campbell of the Juvenile Probation
De�artment.
��. ���� The �ommissionexs signed the salary increase of L?onald J. Colson of
the J�uveni�e Probation Department to $908.40 per month.
{�- i`��`�The Commzssioners approved the request by the New Hope Domestic
Violence Serviees office for a budget e�ension in the amount of $84,79I,20,
����� As of this date ths Board by a majority vote does approve for payment
those vauchers included in the �ist filed in the Auditors C}ffice 7124/2000 in
�he total amount of $ l, i 13,517.99.
��� ���The Cammissioners signed the findings, conclusian�, and final
decision in the matter of adm�nistrative revievv a� t�e finai NIDNS-
Addendum af Nick and Donna Tommer.
��-� ��� A motion was made by Commissianer Allzson, seconded by
Cammissioners Snead that Resalution I`�Iumber 2000-77-CC setting a. Public
�Iearing f�r A,ugusi 7, 2000 at 1:�0 p.m. relating to �he facis requiring an
appropriation and expenditure af fi.�nds for the Law and Justiee Fund # 121,
Depa�tment # 163 in the iotal amount of $18,625 be passed. The mation
carried.
���L1 �7! A m�tion was made by Can�missioner All.ison, seconded by
Commi�sioner Snead that Resolution Number 2Q00-78-CC setting a Public
Hearing fQr August 7, 2000 ai 1:00 p.m. relating to ihe facts requiring an
appropriation and expendiiure of funds for the Current Expense Fund #001,
Miscellanec�us General �avernment Depat-Gment #125 in the tatal amount of
$�8�,(}00 �ae passed. The motion carried.
��-( �'7�.A Public Hearing was held and a motion was made by Cc�mmzssic�ner
Snead, seconded by Commzssianer Allison that Resolution Number 20fl0-
79-�C authc�rizing an appro�riation and expenditure of funds in the
Develc�pmental Disabilities Fund #402, Department # 176 in the amount of
$113,923 be passed, The motion carried.
; c�.� ��� A Public Meeting was held regarding the plat altera�ion af lat 13 and
the east ane-fifth of Iot 12, Block �4, Grant County Qrchard Tracts inio two
3-acre lats requested by Sergey Babak, A motion was made by
Coznmissioner Snead, seconded by Commissioner Allison to uphoid the
Plar��ing Commzssioner approval of the request with the 9 cond'ztions and 2
findings o�` fact provided by the P1ann�ng Department. The motion carried.
{�!��1 �-A Public Meeting was held regarding ihe plat alteration of lot 1, of
Summerland Acres Phase 1 SP 3-46, appro�mate�y 10.40 acres in size. Lot
1 is propc�sed to be split into a 2.5 acre parcel and a 7.3 8 a.cre paxcel. A
motion was made by Commissioner Snead, seconded by Comrnissioner
Allison to uphold the Planning Commission apprcaval with 11 conditians,
and 3 find�ngs as provided by the Planning Department. The motian carried.
As there was no further busin�ss to come before the Board the session
was cont�nued uniil July 25, 200Q.

The session was cantinued at 9:00 a.m. with all of the Commissioners
in attendance wi�h the Clerk Qf the Board.

far the purchase of twa af the cour�ty surp�us vehicles.

equipmen�: declared surplus be passed. The moiion earried.

Company, Inc. for the U-SW Road project.

Officer 7eremy Myers of the Sheriff's {Jffice to $2,462 per month.

Attarney's Office for a budget e�tension of $28,$02.
��('�� � The Commisszoners approved the dismissal of the appeal regarding
payment of attozney's fees in the State v Loukaitis case.

Project.
As there was no further business to come before the Board the session
