The Grant County �ommissioners session was called to order at 9:00
a.m. by Chairman Debo�ah Maore. AII af the Cammissioners were in
a�endance with the Clerk of the Baard.
The Cammissioners read and approved the minutes of the pxeceding
session as written.
�����'�F� The Commissioners appraved out of State travel for Sam Lorenz,
f�ram Grant Caunty Department of �mergency 1Vlanagement to travel to
tJregon fo� a tour c�f the Umatilla Chemical Agent Disposal Facility.
��1��/ The Commissioners approved the request by the Grant Caunty
Infarmatic�n Services Depa�nent for Frank 1Vlartinez ta attend a 4-day class
at Green River Communi�.y College on Fiber Optic Cabling.
`.��f� �-�The Commissioners rec�ived a signed copy of the Memorandum of
L7nderstanding with the Department of E-nergy for emergency preparedness.
��i��,c�? �'he Commissianer� approv�d the request by the Emergency
Management Department to pay the amount of $600 to Quincy Flying
Service £or the �e suppression drops in the month af August, 1999.
As there was no further business ta come befo�e the Board the session
was continued until June 13, 200t}.
June I3, 2000
The session was cantinued at g:00 a.m. wzth aIl of the Commissione�s
zn attendance with the Clerk of the Baard.
The Commissioners met with the Public Works Director xegarding
Vehicle Purchase Request-Soap Lake, Purchase Request-Fencing-Annual
Bridge R.eport, Six Year PrQgram, Sign Request-Gorge, Personnel,
������ The Commissioners were notif ed that Everett Smith af the Public
Works De�artment would be retzring �he 3 I 5� of July, 2000.
���-I��' The Commissioners received the year 2a04 Bridge Report from the
Pubiic �orks Director.
��f�l��� The Commissioners signed the Public Works Claims Fund Voucher
Approval #5-1 �hrough#5-208 zn the total amount t�f$1,262,711,28.
�����7 As af this date the Board by a majority vate does approve far payment
those vouchers included in the Izst filed in the Auditars C?ffzce 6f 12l2000 in
the ta�al amount of$373,478.73.

The Coznmissioners received a Note for Motion Docket from Gary
Dornznguez. The matter vcras referred to the Prosecuting At�orney for
handli.ng.
�'�.�-�€�� A motion was made by Commisszaner A1lison, seconded b�
Commisszoner Snead that Resolution Number 200C}-5$-CC stating that Rick
Lewellyn is no le,nger designated to provide the services af a Designated
Men-�aI IIealth Professional be passed. The mot�on ca�ried.
��.�,�f��:J The Commissioners approved a request by the Grant County Juvenile
Court and Youth Services Department for the funding of an Early
Intervention Counselor for the purpose of preventing truancies from
occun�ing.
t�,��,�--� The Commissioners approved the request for transfer of funds in the
Grant Ce�unty Juvenile Court and Youth Services Department in the amount
of$22,8$4.Ofl.
As there was no fizrther business to come before the Board the session
was adjoumed until June 19, 2000.
