WHER�AS, an emp�oyee of the Public Warks
Depariment is combating a serxous �llness and has ex�austed
his to�aZ sick and annual Ieave benefits, and
WHEREAS, said employee cur�ently is not in a fnancial
position ta� pay the premium of hrs health and welfa�e plan and
thereby +c�ntinue his medical coverage, and
ti'VHEREAS, many employees have expressed an interest
in diverting or transferri�g s�me �f their accrued sick leave ta
the acco�nt of said employee,
NOW, THER�FQRE �E IT RESC}LVED and it is
hereby ordered �hat any employee whm is interested in
diverting san�e of their accrued sick l�ave to the account of said
employee may do so in the ma�nths of May and June, 200f} by
submit�ing in writing to the C�mmissioners' Office the amount
af sick leave they desire �o iransfer along with their signature
to this request.
BE IT FURTI3ER RESCILVED AND► �IEREBY
QRDERED, that the �ot�l an�ount af sick leave donated shall
nat exceed 12� days, and
SE IT A.LS�D RESC}LVED ANTi H�REBY t�RDERETI
that this action shall in nc� way be construed to set a precedent.
