The Grant County Comrnissioners session was called to order at 9:00
a.m. by Chairman Deborah Moore. Commissioner Snead was in attendance
with the Clerk af the Board. Commissioner Allisan was aut of the office for
the da.y.
The �ommissioners read and approved the minutes of the preceding
sessian as written.
z�( �`7 � The Com.nussianers approved the rec}uest by the Grant County
Fairgraunds far the purchase c�f a mc�wer in the arnount of $13,QOQ.
�,��,�-�� The �ommissioners appraved the siariing salary of Marie M, Anaya
of ihe District Court Office at $1,477.60 per month effective May 10, 2�00.
;��� The �o�sunissioners approved the starting salary of Patti Cabe of the
Coaperative Extension Office at $1,984.60 per month ef�`ective June 1, 2000.
��-(� `? � Chairman 1Vloore was authorized to sign the C3-MA Planning �ontract
with Michael J. McCo7rmmick..
��{4��i Chairman 1Vloore was authorized to sign the Interlocal Agreement
with Wilson Creek for the p�poses of furnishing administration and
en�areemer�t services io cany out the purposes of the State Build�.ng Code
Act.
E��`/� The Commissioners received a S�unmons and Gomp�aint for damages
from Nlarietta Miller. The matter was referred to the Prosecuting Attorney
for handli.ng.
i�[� �� The �ommissioners approved the request by the Sheriff's Office for
ihe purchase o� one Caem Top Canopy in the amount of $12,957,69.
k �.��� �� The Commissioners were notified by Elvin L. Ku1p, Area Extension
" Agent-C�air thai Christy Pri.ce would be acting chair from May 22 through
; June 4.

[�-i� �� A motion was made by Cammzssianer Allison, seconded by
Commissioner Snead that �Z.esoluiian hT�z.tnber 200o-52-cc ta} �llowzng
employees to divert some of their accrued sick Ieave to the account of an
employee in the Public iuorks Departmeni who is combating a serious
zllness be passed. The �notion carried.
As there was no further business -�o come before the Board the session
was continued until May 16, 2000.

The sessian was continued at 9;00 a.m. with all of the Commissioners
in attendance with the Clerk of the Board.
The Commissioners met wiih the Public Works Di�ectar regarding
Cc�ntract Award-Asphalt I�auling Services, `�' SEI' 1' SE Contract
Exeeution-Hilmes Constructzon, `U' SE Supp�ementa� Financial Agreement-
Cansiruction Phase, Six Year Transporiatian Improvement Program-2QQ�-
�005, Personnel.
��-� ���'The Commissianers signed the contra.ct with Hilmes Construction,
Inc. for the I�-SE/1-SE Rd project.
��� ��..3 The Cammissioners approved the awardzng c�f the Asphalt �-Iauling
cantra.ct to �kanagon-Seattle �'ransport in the amount af $0.0064 per cwt
per mile.
��-���� The Commissioners approved the siarting salary ofMari� M. Delgado
c�f the Distr�ct Court Department at $1,477.60 per mont� effectzve May I 5,
200�.
?�P.��� As of �his date th� Board by a rnajority voie does approve for payment
those vouchers filed in the Auditors C7ffiee S/15/2{}00 in the total amount af
$354,518.70.
� r�. ��. ���, � Public I-�earing was held and a motion wa.s rnade by Commzssioner
Allisan, seconded by Commissioner Snead that Resolu�ion Number 2000-
��-cc-�. auih�arizing an appropz�ation and expend'zture of funds in the �urrent
Expense Fund #441, Interfiznd Communicatians Department #129 be passed.
The motion �arz�ied.

and Lesa Francis af Di�eetians in Community L'zving io suppozt people with
disabilities in Hayden Lake, Id�ho,
As there was no further business to come before the Board the session
was adjauz�a.ed until May 22, 2000.
