RESOLUTIQN NUMBER 2000-44-CC
A RESOLUTIaN relating to the �acts requ�ring an appropriation
and exp�nditure of �unds for the �ollowing departrnent/�und:
Sa,rrent �;x�ense Fund ��001, Courthouse Facilities Dept.��112 y
together with a budget there�ar; declaring an emergency; and �
setting a public hearing da�e; all pursuant to RCW 36.40.144.
�h�HEREAS, it has been brought to the attention a� the Baard
of County Commzssioners o� Grant Count� that an appropriation
a�d e�pe�diture of funds should be authorized far the above-
mentioned departmentJfund, together with a budge� �here�ar, in
the estima-�ed amount .o� $ 21,OOQ ; and
WHEREAS, expenditure af such �unds was not included in the
current budget o� Grant County, however, emergent co�ditions
now require that such funds be expended; and �
WHEREAS, it appears that an emergency exists and that the
expenditure of such �unds eould nat have been reasonably �oreseen
at the time o� making said coun�y budget,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COM-
MISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that the a�are-
mentioned �acts con.stitu�e an emergency and that an. appropriation
and expenditure a� �unds should be autharzzed �or the �ollawing
dep�.�`tmel2t f�u32d : Current Exp . Fund �`r`d01, Conrthouse Facilities Dept .��I12 ,
together �uith a budgei there�or.
BE IT FUR.THER RESOLVED that notice af a public hearing upon
such expenditure shall be given, said hearing to be held on
May 30, 2000 in the Gran� Coun-�y Commissioners' O�fice,
Grant County Caurthouse, Ephrata, Washing�on, at the hour o�
1a00 p.m. �
