COMMISSIONERS' PROCEEDINGS
Week of March 27, 2000
The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 9:00
a.m. with all of the Commissioners in attendance.
The Commissioners read and approved the minutes of the preceding
session as written.
I����Chair Deborah Moore was authorized to sign the Notice of Separation
of Edith Santana of the Prevention and Recovery Center.
� c..�.. I��� The Commissioners approved the payment of voucher #320504 for
meals for Washington State Community, Trade & Economic Development
speakers at a short course on local planning.
��C� ��� The Commissioners approved the request from Brenda Larson of the
Building/Fire Marshal office to travel to Chelan County to attend their Metal
Drive.
������ The Commissioners approved the starting salary of Derek E. Jay of
the Sheriff's Office at $2092.70 per month effective March 24, 2000.
1<.� ��-� The Commissioners approved the s�lary increase of Janeil J. Kikuchi
of the Juvenile Probation Department to $2,862 per month as the Intensive
Supervision employee.
��f4�7 The Commissioners approved the request by the Juvenile Probation
Department for the purchase of a laptop computer.
��-� �-� The Commissioners approved the starting salary of Kyle Cox of the
Sheriff's Office as a Deputy at 80% of Deputy I or $2,515.20 per month.
��; r.��-�j The Commissioners approved out of State travel for Sheriff Wiester to
attend the National Sheriffs Association comference.
����� The Commissioners approved the request by the Sheriff's Office to
purchase 8 light weight ballistic vest�.
As there was no further business to come before the Board the session
was continued until Maxch 28, 2000.
March 28, 2000
The session was continued at 9:00 a.m. with all of the Commissioners
in attendance.
The Commissioners met with the Public Works Director regarding
Damage Claim-Spray, Bid Authorization-Asphalt Hauling, `5' NW/SR 283
Intersection, Personnel.
�`�� �� The Cammisszoners signed the Authorizatian to Ca11 far Bids an
Asphalt Hauling Se�vices. Bid opening to be April 1$, 2000 at 1 Q:45 a.m.

�hose vouchers filed in the Auditors C}ffice 3/271�000 in the total amaunt of
$637,635.61.
As there was no further business io come befare the Board the session
was adjourned until Apri13, 24Q4.
